1Kult, French webzine about alternative cinema is about to release Lucile Hadzihalilovic's La Bouche de Jean Pierre (1996) for the first time on DVD. Remember Gaspar Noé was cinematographer. Extras are currently shot and the movie will be restored under the supervision of the film crew. This release is not scheduled yet. (source)

According Le Monde (Isabelle Regnier's blog), US producer Chris Hanley (Virgin Suicide, Buffalo 66 & American Psycho) from Muse Productions would prepare a movie adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis "Imperial Bedrooms" possibly directed by Gaspar Noé.

Strangely, Gaspar Noé was previously approached by Chris Hanley for directing another work by Bret Easton Ellis, Golden Suicides (see news of 15/05/11).

In the morning, they wake up naked under the outraged gaze of Yasimilslaidi's parents. Determinated to rid their daughter of the curse that has been placed on her, the parents drag her to an Afro Cuban priest and ask for cleaning ceremony.

Gaspar Noé about 7 Days in Havana :

"This film portrays the purification ritual of a young woman in the midst of a forest. We will shoot this last part in a wood in the heart of Havana, with trees blanketed with long leaves and creepers twisting here and there, so entangled in their branches that they seem to belong to another world.

The film starts with a commonplace yet amusing premise, then moves on to the the description of a ritual that will ressemble a dream or something from a parallel world. We will shoot as much as possible in long takes that will grow in complexity, and as regards the image, we will overexploit the vibrant colors of the sets and the costumes found in Cuba.

C'est de l'impolitesse et de l'arrogance. Si Kanye West reconnaît son emprunt, parle de nous et nous fait de la pub, alors il n'y aura aucun problème. Ou s'il nous organise un dîner avec Rihanna!"

'All of The Lights', Kanye West's new music video (directed by both West & Hype Williams) has been obviously inspired by Enter the Void. Shot two months ago in Los Angeles, the clip "opens with a black and white scene of a youngster seemingly on her way to school, backpack in tow. Then pops of color jump on screen as visuals of the songs lyrics--glowing and blinking--appear at a dizzying speed. Kanye stands on top of a police car in an alleyway, Rihanna bares alot more than her soulful voice and Kid Cudi keeps his back turned to the camera." (source)
