Gaspar Noé shot 4 never-seen-before black & red photos for the "Desire" exhibition currently shown at Gagosian Gallery, in Miami (Nov 30th – Dec 4th | 191 NE 40th Street Moore Building). More information about the exhibition.
“Desire” features a roster of over 50 established and emerging artists, the majority of whom have worked with the two dealers in the past, but also a strong contingent of Widmaier-Picasso’s choosing who have not. Voyeurism, fantasy, and abstract expressions of desire are all at play in the wide variety of media present: sculpture, photography, painting, video, cartoons, drawings, and live performance. A number of works, like a series of photographs by the Argentinean filmmaker Gaspar Noe, have been created specifically for the show." (source)

“Desire” inclut une liste de plus de 50 artistes avérés et émergents, dont la majorité a déjà travaillé avec les deux galeristes par le passé, bien qu'une grosse partie choisie par Widmaier-Picasso
n'a jamais travaillé avec eux. Voyeurisme, fantasme et expressions abstraites sont à l'œuvre dans la très large variété de média présents : sculpture, photographie, peinture, vidéo, dessins-animés, dessins, et performance. Un certain nombre d'œuvres, comme une série de photographies prises par le cinéaste Argentin Gaspar Noé, ont spécialement été créées pour l'exposition. (source)
